We are a large library located in a suburb of San Jose, where the South Bay meets the East Bay, with a population of nearly 70,000 and growing. We have the highest percentage of tech workers in the country. A large percentage of our population is of Asian descent. We enjoy a high level of community support, so much that our hours were recently increased from 56/week to 71/week, to be funded by the city. Our library is always busy and is praised for having great service and an extensive collection.
