The Seattle Public Library is a municipal library system in Seattle with the architecturally iconic Central Library in the heart of downtown. It has 27 branches in surrounding neighborhoods. Seattle hosts a thriving technology sector and a large number of residents exploring entrepreneurship. Technology and access is one of the library’s five service priorities. The library serves as Seattle's primary point of access to information, lifelong learning, economic development and creative expression through innovative use of technology and digital resources. The Library to Business program works to empower underserved communities with information and learning opportunities.
