Smyrna (Ga.) Public Library is a municipal library in the Atlanta-metro area with one location. We serve a diverse population of approximately 56,000 residents (51% Caucasian, 32% African American, 7% Asian American, 15% Hispanic). We have a sizable population of families with children under five years old who use the library voraciously. Over the past five years, we have been working to strengthen the engagement of families with school-age children, young adults and adults. We have a staff of 17 (12 FTE).
