Bradley Public Library, Bradley, IL
During the entire grant term the posters where on display throughout the library for patron viewing. With the posters having both sides printed on them the images where rotated on a frequent basis to promote reading on topics related to calendar events, i.e.; Black History Month, Lincoln Bicentennial, and Voting. They where incorporated into book displays to draw greater awareness to the subjects or artists. The library used the Abraham Lincoln poster to coincide with a book author visit; the author speaking on his recent published book about an Illinois Civil War regiment during the American Civil War. Also, it was used with another presenter who spoke on Lincoln and Illinois and the historical sites related to Lincoln in Illinois. The library also provided a two month long art/photography display incorporating the posters as the pieces of art.
