To introduce the collection to the public, we created an exhibit entitled "American Masters." This exhibit ran 6 weeks. During this time we contacted local school and other community groups to encourage group tours.
As a public library, we have bar coded the prints and made them available for checkout. We sent letters to local history, social studies and art teachers to make them aware that this resource is available. Several of the prints have been checked out. We are also using the prints to complement our book displays. An example of this was during black history month, three of the prints were used as a backdrop for our book display.
