Guidelines and Reporting Requirements
Per the NEH Guidelines for Picturing America
, all participating libraries are required to submit a one-page final report at the end of the grant term. The final report form is web-based, and participants must login to a password protected site to access and complete the final report. You may preview the final report questions if you would like to consider them as you are planning your library’s programs.
Please note that you may submit up to two electronic image files with your final report. Doing so will convey your permission for NEH and ALA to use the submitted image for future promotional projects, with credit given to your library. Questions about the final reporting process may be directed to picturingamerica@ala.org.
Picturing America 2008
Applications for the first round of Picturing America grants were due in April 2008, and materials were distributed in fall 2008. Final reports were due by by May 29, 2009 and are no longer being accepted.
Picturing America 2009
Applications for the second round of Picturing America grants were due in November 2008, and materials were distributed in spring 2009. Final reports must be submitted by May 31, 2010. To complete your library’s report, please login to the 2009 final report using the email address and password used to apply for the grant. If you do not have your password, please use the password reminder on the login page to have it emailed to you.
