Picturing America for Public Libraries

An African dance troop made up of local elementary and middle school children helped us celebrate Black History month. The posters were placed in locations throughout the library to highlight the event. We made use of the Civil War era pictures during our month long celebration of Lincoln's birthday. 3. The posters will be used throughout the summer reading program this year to bring additional dimension to our theme, and will be tied in to children’s book titles that represent the theme of the posters.
