Picturing America for Public Libraries

During National Library Week in April, we had a week-long scavenger hunt using 16 of the posters. In each of 4 age categories (little kids, big kids, teens, adults) there was a different list of 10-12 objects that they had to find in the posters. We used 8 posters in the children's room, and 8 in the adult/teen areas. Everyone who completed the scavenger hunt was entered in a raffle drawing. The scavenger hunt was planned by library staff in conjunction with several students from our local high school's National Honor Society.
