Picturing America for Public Libraries

We have displayed most of the posters in the library. We have also used many of them in conjunction with "The Big Read" when the students and several adult groups read "The Grapes of Wrath" by John Steinbeck and "Hope in Hard Times..." by Mary Murphy. The "Hope in Hard Times..." was written by a professor at Montana State University. She used photographs of Montana from the WPA for the book. We are a combined public and school library. So, the posters have been well utilized in our community. What a wonderful set of posters. They have been a big hit in the community.
