Warsaw Public Library, Warsaw, NY

Warsaw Public Library used Picturing America posters for displays promoting various types of timely fiction and nonfiction books, such as "the County Election" by George Calab Bingham in November for political titles, which were displayed with the poster. We used "Veteran in a New Field" by Winslow Homer with the statement "reap rewards with reading", in conjunction with a display of new books. In November we also used "Sans Arc Lakota" by Black Hawk in conjunction with Native American Heritage month. We used Selma-To-Montgomery by James Karales for Martin Luther King Day. Currently, we have "Ladder for Booker T Washington" by Martin Puryear on display with modern art books.
